They were dumb to move in the first place. They really had a nice, unique thing going at the original location. Another example of stupidity in Atlanta's sordid restaurant scene.
ReplyDeleteit was never really the same after the original owner sold it. which is a shame because it used to be great
ReplyDeleteSad...another Atlanta institution bites the dust. Unfortunately, the service and food denegrated over the past few years. Can't say I'm surprised.
ReplyDeleteTHE NEW OWNER JODY HAD NO IDEA WHAT SHE WAS DOING. SHES A LUNATIC AND IM GLAD THEY ARE CLOSED AT THAT LOCATION. SHE SHOULD HAVE KEPT IT THE SAME FOOD AND ORIGINAL LOCATION. tHAT WAS SOMETHING SPECIAL.
ReplyDeleteEX EMPLYEE HERE IN MIDTOWN AND I COULD TELL YOU STUFF SHE DID THAT WOULD MAKE YOUR STOMACH CRAWL
COULD NOT HAVE HAPPENED TO A BETTER PERSON... GOOD JOB JODY!!! LMFAO
Typical mismanagement from someone that is clueless. She will never sell it. I did not have the chance to go in the new one but judging by the pictures, what in the world was she thinking???? All character was lost. The original owner had a great concept, cool idea and it worked. The new owner is a fool. She ruined what was a great little midtown institution. I have many great memories of me in 1995-98 going for brunch on a Sunday after a night of clubbing. Moved in 1998 and went back in 2004, didn't seem quite the same. Then I heard it was moving and knew it was done for.... hence it is closed and for sale. I would buy just the name if it was for sale, the location she can keep...what a fool!
