As first reported by Repeat Atlanta, Minneapolis based Room & Board will open its first location in the Southeast this May in west midtown. Located within the redeveloped White Provisions, Room & Board is an exciting new retailer to Atlanta and is sure to be a hit with locals. Occupying 3 levels and a total of 34,000 s/f, the store is an ideal fit for the west midtown redevelopment. The store will open May 1. Repeat Atlanta!

If I could leave a shameless plug, for a great example of Room and Board furniture, check out the lobby of the Alpharetta Marriott hotel. It was designed completely with Room and Board furniture - it's awesome stuff!

Is Jonathan's post a joke? If you like contemporary institutional then I would say that Room and Board is your place! Unfortunately,for me, the shameless plug does not place Room and Board in a favorable light . I truly hope that the furniture at Room and Board IS NOT like the furniture at the lobby of the Alpharetta Marriott Hotel!
ReplyDeleteWell hope all you want, but don't waste too much time. I purchased it myself with the assistance of Room and Board's corporate interiors team. All the items were picked out from their website's general collection, not a special "contemporary institutional" collection.
