On the heels of a number of private pre-opening gatherings, The Mansion Peachtree, a Rosewood Hotel & Residence is now open! Located at the corner of Peachtree Road and Stratford Rd., this luxurious property is like no other. We had a great time staying in Buckhead. We stayed a the Westin and saw this hotel accross the street. From outside it looks dark and appears not to be open. the sidewalk that runs through the Craft restaurant was all torn up. We wanted to try our luck anyways to see if this hotel was open. We went for drinks at the Bar. found out they had an Italian Restaurant. We ended up having dinner at their little Italian restaurant. Why can't hotels ever have a good restaurant. The food is overpriced and dishes lack authentic character. It does have a good view over a garden and the back end of some condos.

I bet this hotel will go bankrupt soon. They told us they have condos on the top starting at Three Million dollars but no one is buying them. No wonder the hotel is so dark on the outside and no one seems to go to it.
